Incoming UA recruit Markkanen posts impressive game
Incoming Arizona freshman recruit Lauri Markkanen flew from Helsinki, Finland, with his club team, HBA Marsky, to play in the vast National Prep School Invitational this weekend in Rhode Island. Markkanen was impressive Friday, scoring 24 points and gathering 10 rebounds against Kentucky-bound McDonald’s All-American center Wenyen Gabriel, who was held to two points by Markkanen.
