The following are a list of resources for those who want to leave The Message or need help recovering from religious trauma.

A nonprofit started by Naomi Wright to help support those recovering from religious trauma. The organization offers courses and mentorship from licensed support professionals who have theological training and have survived their own religious traumas.

William Branham: Historical Research: william-branham.org

A research website started by former Message believer John Collins. Collins has devoted years to using historical documents to debunk William Branham’s claims and uncover previously unknown details about Branham’s life. He has written multiple books on Branham and his ministry, including “Preacher Behind the White Hoods: A Critical Examination of William Branham and His Message.” Collins also has a podcast called “William Branham Historical Research” with former Message minister Charles Paisley where they discuss problems with The Message and share stories of ex-members.

A research website with resources for those who are considering leaving The Message. Message followers started the website to prove William Branham’s prophecies correct with documents and facts, but they couldn’t find evidence to support Branham. They changed from a pro-Branham site to one that debunks his claims and helps people leave the religion.

Golden Dawn Tabernacle Research: goldendawntabernacle.org

A research website started by former Golden Dawn Tabernacle member John Calvo. Golden Dawn, also known as Tabernaculo Emanuel, is a church that claims to follow The Message. Calvo and other researchers write articles criticizing the church for abuses of power.

Freedom of Mind Resource Center: freedomofmind.com

A center that offers coaching, consulting, training and recovery services for those who have left cults or other high-control groups. Dr. Steven Hassan is the founding director. Hassan is a cult expert, licensed mental health professional and former member of the Moonies cult.

Cult Education Institute: culteducation.com

An organization that provides information on many controversial groups and cults across the world. Cult expert Rick Ross is the founder and executive director. The institute offers intervention and deprogramming services as well as educational content such as warning signs for unsafe groups.

Another research website started by Message believers who wanted to prove Branham right, but couldn’t find evidence to support his claims. The site started by debunking Branham’s bridge vision.

A website with articles and podcasts to help guide ex-Message believers through the emotionally traumatic experience of leaving the religion.
