Arizona STEM Adventure

Chemistry is just one subject that will be taught at the STEM Adventure Summer Day Camps.

Hands-on experiments in science, technology, engineering and math will keep the kids engaged during week-long camps offered at Kino School, 6625 N. First Ave., this summer.

Camps β€” for kids entering grades one through six β€” include activities such as creating lava, archery, designing a rocket, creating an art bot, making silly putty and more.

Families have four weeks to choose from: June 6-10, June 13-17, June 20-24 and June 27 β€” July 1. Each week-long session costs $250.

Camp will be in session from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

This is just one of many summer programs offered to kids in Tucson in a variety of subjects, from arts to science to sports.

If you’re with an organization that will host a summer camp, it’s time to enter your information in the Star’s summer program list.

See the adjacent info box for a step-by-step guide on how to list your program β€” and how to search for others β€” in our online database and calendar.
