Six northwest Tucson congregations will gather 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 939 W. Chapala Drive, for an interfaith prayer service.

With a theme of β€œTogether on the Journey in Mercy, Love and Peace,” the gathering is the result of cooperation between leaders at St. Odilia Catholic Community; Third Church of Christ, Scientist; the Tucson North Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; Casas Adobes Congregational Church of the United Church of Christ; the Muslim Community Center of Tucson and Congregation Or Chadash, according to press materials.Β 

The interfaith presentation will include music, prayers and speakers of multiple faiths.

Participants can bring canned spaghetti sauce and packaged spaghetti noodles for Interfaith Community Services.
