St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 3809 E. Third St., will host an interfaith vigil corresponding with a nationwide campaign commemorating the fourth anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
The candlelight vigil 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 will include speakers from the city and a number of local faith communities.
The event emphasizes ending gun violence and is sponsored by the Newtown Foundation, Washington, D.C.'s St. Mark's Episcopal Church and other agencies created to end gun violence, according to press materials.
