St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church, 4625 E. River Road, will host the class "How to Acknowledge, Bless and Honor the Lives of Our Sacred Elders" 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12.ย
The class will present an example of a blessing ceremonyย โ a chance for an older person to hear how their life has impacted those who love them. The idea is that the ceremony will give people a chance to express to their loved one the sentiments that are often saved until funerals.ย
