St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church, 4625 E. River Road, will present the class “Reducing Gun Violence” 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 25.
Presenters Pamela Simon and Emily Nottingham will share information about the nonprofit Everytown for Gun Safety, according to press materials.
Simon, a former staffer for then-Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, was injured at the shooting spree in Tucson on Jan. 8, 2011. Nottingham is mother to Gabe Zimmerman, a Giffords staffer who was killed that day.
