Tucson church hosts class on mental health and police intervention

St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church, 4625 E. River Road, will host an officer from the Tucson Police Department to present the class “Using TPD Crisis Intervention Officers to Prevent a Mental Health Crisis” 10:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, Dec. 17.

The class is free, according to press materials.
