National Beer Day is April 7.

According to the Brewers Association, volume share for craft brewers rose in 2018 from 12.6 to 13.2 percent, while barrels produced increased by roughly 800,000.

With over 1,000 breweries or brewpubs opening in 2018, the top 50 breweries by sales volume changed slightly. The map shows the location of the top 50. Breweries that own multiple brands or work as collectives are broken out by the beers that comprise their number for 2018. For example, New Belgium Brewing Company owns Magnolia Brewing. Each show up on the map and in the search below, but count towards the same brewery.

“Although the market has grown more competitive, particularly for regional craft breweries with the widest distribution, these 50 small and independent brewing companies continue to lead the craft brewing market in sales through strong brands, quality, and innovation,” said Bart Watson, chief economist, Brewers Association.

You can search the data from the Brewers Association below. Search by single or multiple criteria. Find the top brewers in your state or overall. "Multiple" refers to a brand that owns multiple breweries or is a collective.
