Ken Burmeister, who was the ace recruiter during Olson’s formative years at McKale Center, registered his most important victory in eight years at San Antonio’s Incarnate Word University last week, beating 6-1 Nebraska in Lincoln, 74-73. Burmeister’s team, which was admitted to Division I a year ago, is now 6-1 and plays Wednesday at Grand Canyon.Β
