Voters in the Marana School District are invited to a candidate forum for this yearβs Governing Board race on Monday, Oct. 15.
There are three candidates running for two open seats: incumbents Tom Carlson and John Lewandowski, and challenger Mark Neish.
The Marana Education Association along with Marana Schools Parents and Community grassroots group are hosting the forum, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the Coyote Trail Elementary School cafeteria, 8000 N. Silverbell Road. It will also be broadcast live via Facebook at www.facebook.com/maranaea
A teacher will moderate the discussion and questions will be taken from the audience as well as from the audience watching live on Facebook.
