Banner Children's adds food allergies expertΒ 

Dr. Christopher Justinich has joined the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson and Banner Children’s at Diamond Children’s Medical Center.

He will be a professor in the Gastroenterology and Nutrition Division and will treat children at Diamond’s as a pediatric gastroenterologist.

Justinich brings special expertise in food allergic disorders of the GI tract, and in eosinophilic esophagitis, an inflammatory disease of the esophagus.

He received his medical degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario; completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Ottawa Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and both a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and a research fellowship at the University of Montreal Sainte-Justine Hospital.

Justinich is board certified in pediatric gastroenterology.
