Eduardo Najera watched Saturdayโs game from a courtside seat, a scout for the NBAโs Dallas Mavericks.
Najera was a star at Oklahoma from 1996-2000. He was a part of the 1999 Sooners team that upset No. 4-seed Arizona in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Najera had what the Washington Post labeled a โbrilliant game,โ amassing 17 points, 13 rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
Najera went on to play 12 seasons in the NBA, most of them in Dallas.ย
