Southern Arizona high school seniors are encouraged to apply for the Valerie McGregor Scholarship.
The award is open to girls who are active in school athletics or student government, and honors the memory of Valerie McGregor, a former Mountain View High School athlete and student government leader.
McGregor died in 2006 from injuries suffered in a traffic accident. The deadline to apply is April 18. For more information, visit www.InValsMemory.org
