This morning brings a chance of showers and slight chance of sleet, but by this afternoon the chance of showers is back to slight, and rain is off the forecast for tonight.

Although Saturday is expected to be cloudy, no rain is expected. That reprieve might not last long though, because Sunday's forecast includes a chance of rain.

As of midnight today, Tucson's rainfall for the first seven days of the year has measured up to 1.53 inches. The normal amount of rain for the entire month of January is 0.94 inches, so Tucson's totals are already far above normal.
