Crews with city contractor Sunland Asphalt will raise manhole and water valve covers on Saturday, July 16, and Sunday, July 17, for utility work at two intersections: East Fort Lowell Road and North Alvernon Way; and West Speedway and North Main Street.
Workers will be on sites from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days, and lanes will be restricted over the weekend until 5 a.m. Monday to allow the concrete to cure.
The work is part of a $100 million five-year street bond.
