Trailing by nearly 4 percent as of Wednesday morning, District 3 Republican challenger Kim DeMarco conceded the race to incumbent Sharon Bronson, assuring a continued Democratic majority on the board of supervisors.Β
In a post on her campaign's Facebook page, DeMarco wrote, "It is with great sadness that that I tell you the Pima County Board of Supervisors will continue status quo. I want to thank all of you for your support and the kindness that you have shown me and Russ."Β
Bronson was not immediately available for comment on her win.
