Tucson coffee shops

Nitro cold brew at Presta Coffee Roasters, Tucson.

Like most of the country, Tucson has no shortage of coffee shops, all of them unique in their offerings and design.

But Architectural Digest says that when it comes to design, coffee shops across the country have been stepping up their game and in doing so, reflect the character of their communities.

"Giving just as much attention as they do to the latte art (those dreamy designs etched into cappuccino or latte foam), proprietors are tapping into design trends with salvaged barn wood, ball-pendant lights, greenery, and hexagonal tiles," the article says.

For anyone whose been to Presta Coffee Roasters, on North 1st Ave., it shouldn't come as a shock that its design is being hailed by Architectural Digest as the most beautiful in the state.

"The Roastery location is totally industrial-chic with lots of steel beams in the design, plus vintage tour bicycles hanging on the wall above floating shelves that house bags of coffee beans and brewing devices," the article says.
