A former University of Arizona Police Department corporal has been permanently barred from working as a police officer in Arizona.
Andrew Kisela, who worked for the UAPD for 10 years, was investigated by the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board in 2012 after he was fired from the UAPD for βintentionally and surreptitiouslyβ recording a conversation between two on-duty police dispatchers in 2011.
Kisela signed a consent agreement in November to give up his state license without admitting any wrongdoing, and the board accepted the agreement last week.
