A Tucson police officer was involved in a two-vehicle crash in midtown.
The officer and a person in the other vehicle were both taken to a hospital with minor injuries, said Sgt. Kimberly Bay, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman.
Westbound lanes on East Fifth Street at North Craycroft Road, and southbound lanes on Craycroft to East Fourth Street are closed.Β
Traffic was expected to be restricted for several hours. Motorists were advised to avoid the area.
Traffic detectives were enroute to investigate the crash, Bay said.
No further information was immediately available.Β
