Tucson Veterans Serving Veterans: Partnering with United Way for the first annual Day of Action. This event is a veteransβ resource fair with 50 community partner tables. Donations needed: hygiene supplies, including toiletries, sun screen, razors, soap, shaving cream, and clothes for men and women. Also, volunteers are needed June 24 to support the event: set-up, registration table staff and table break-down after the event.
Tu Nidito Children & Family Services: Volunteers are needed to facilitate peer support groups for children, teens and adults whose lives have been impacted by the death of a loved one.
Sentinel Plaza Apartments: Resident Services Programs volunteers are needed to facilitate and teach crochet to residents at Sentinel Plaza once a week or every other week on a Monday if possible.
