Jonathan Paul Martinez, 39, was arrested by Marana police after he allegedly tried to steal auto parts from Gallegos Auto Sales on Jan. 29.Β 

Marana police went to Gallegos Auto Sales, 4479 W. Ina Road, about 12:30 am. Thursday after a passer-by reported seeing someone trying to steal auto parts.

Officers found 39-year-old Jonathan Paul Martinez climbing out from underneath a vehicle that was for sale at the business, Marana police said in a news release Monday. Martinez ran away but was caught a short time later.

Marana police say they recovered tools Martinez was using. He was booked into the Pima County jailΒ  on suspicion of burglary and possession of burglary tools.Β
