Mansfeld Magnet Middle School students were treated to a Model T car show Wednesday as part of a math assignment.Β 

The seventh-graders in Leticia Lozano's class will be using plans from a full size Model T Huckster to build their own scaled down version about the size of a shoe box.Β 

This is the third year the historic cars have visited the University of Arizona-area campus, allowing students to get hands on.

The math assignment is intertwined with social studies as the students are being introduced to Henry Ford and the industrial revolution, Lozano said.Β
