A suspicious package found Thursday in the area of the Ronstadt Transit Center turned out to be a musical instrument.

The package found in the early evening shut down a portion of East Congress Street between North Fifth and North Sixth avenues, police said.

The bomb squad went to the scene to investigate.

Travel no longer is restricted on Congress Street, said Sgt. Kimberly Bay, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman.

No further information was immediately available.
