A word cloud gives hints to what is inside one of the Internal Affairs reports released by TPD

In the months since the city of Tucson first acknowledged several police officers were being investigated for ties to a prostitution ring, and reporters have received hundreds of pages through public records requests.

The Arizona Daily Star has published some reports and highlighted pieces of others, but the Pima County Attorney's Office is still considering whether to file charges against the operators and others involved.

The Star has opted not to publish some details or the names of employees who have not been disciplined or charged with any crimes.

So what is inside the documents? The graphic is from one of the internal affairs investigation into a Tucson Police Department employee who resigned from the department.

We've removed a handful of names as well as a few common words. For example, the word "page" turned up a lot in a 300-page report.

The report includes partially redacted interviews, evidence found in the internal investigation as well as reprints of the various ads placed by the alleged prostitutes on websites like backpage.com.

The word cloud is based on frequency, so the larger the word, the more often it was used in the documents released by TPD.
