About 10,000 Tucson Electric Power customers are without service after a storm swept through Tucson, affecting mostly the south and west sides.Β 

The outages are mostly north of Green Valley and Sahuarita, said TEP spokesman Joe Barrios.Β 

Old Nogales Highway south of East Lumber Street is closed due to downed power lines and poles, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.Β 

The thunderstorm brought gusts of up to 60 mph to the Sahuarita area according to the National Weather Service.Β 

No showers are expected in the Tucson valley Wednesday or Thursday, but rain is expected in the mountains, according to the NWS.Β
