Two Southern Arizona teens face charges of disorderly conduct after police said they posed with a replica rifle on a high school campus in a photo posted on social media.

Law enforcement officers were summoned to Buena High School in Sierra Vista around 8:45 a.m. Monday, March 26 after the photo was shared on Instagram, a news release from Sierra Vista Police Department said.

It didn't take long for police to track down the teens. "Officers quickly identified the students and the rifle was determined to be an inert, non-firing replica," the news release said.

The juveniles were referred for disorderly conduct and will be released to their parents, it said.
