Nothing says 4th of July like Lee Greenwood, all decked out in his red, white and blue splendor, singing his iconic patriotic ode "God Bless the U.S.A."

On the eve of the Fourth of July in Tucson, Greenwood will headline a show at Fox Tucson Theatre on Tuesday, July 3, and despite a catalog of 30 albums and seven No. 1 hits in a career going back to the late 1970s, most in the audience will be waiting for that one moment. And when the 75-year-old singer sings the chorus β€”Β "And I'm proud to be an American / Where at least I know I'm free" β€” there will be applause so loud it will spill out onto West Congress Street.
