A man died after falling from a radio tower on Mount Lemmon Thursday morning, authorities said.
The man was repairing the power to an amateur radio tower when he fell shortly before noon, said Deputy Ryan Inglett, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman.
"He was not by himself," said Inglett. "People went to his aid quickly," he said.
The man, whose identity was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Inglett said the tower was used by ham radio operators.
