Arby’s: Customers of Arby’s can donate to United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Arizona as part of a fundraising campaign happening now.
The initiative will continue until it reaches its $70,000 goal.
For the 10th year, the restaurant is teaming up with the organization, having raised more than $315,000.
UCPSA provides services and support for children and adults with developmental disabilities, including home-based support services, as well as respite care for parents and caregivers.

Risas Dental and Braces: Two Tucson moms will receive free dental treatments as part of Risas Dental and Braces’ annual Mother’s Day Dental Makeover Giveaway.
Nominations of mothers who have demonstrated unwavering dedication to their families are open now through noon on May 3 at risasdental.com/dental-makeover.
Nominees must be at least 18 years old and self-nominations are accepted. Last year, Risas received more than 300 nominations.
Cool to be Kind: A refrigeration system was installed in Gospel Rescue Mission’s walk-in-refrigerator unit as part of the Cool to be Kind program.
The program, which provides essential refrigeration systems to charitable organizations, is a collaborative initiative between Heatcraft Refrigeration Products, American Refrigeration Supplies and Cool Willy’s Air & Plumbing.
Cool Willy’s Air & Plumbing installed a new Larkin condenser and unit cooler.
In addition to the donation and installation of the refrigeration system, employees from the three companies planned to spend a day last week filling volunteer shifts to help with clean-up and maintenance work around Gospel Rescue Mission, a news release said.
Gospel Rescue Mission provides meals, shelter, recovery, housing and workforce development.
“The collaborative effort this took is incredible and we are so grateful for the support, which allows us to reallocate vital donor dollars into meals and life-changing programs,” said Lisa Chastain, CEO of Gospel Rescue Mission.
Watch Now: The Gospel Rescue Mission hosted their 34th annual Thanksgiving Food Outreach on Wednesday at the H.S. Lopez Family Foundation Center of Opportunity in Tucson. Guests could either drive-thru to receive pet food, a resource box and meal or walk up and enjoy a plate of food at the sit-down banquet. Three-thousand meals were prepared with donated items.
