An accident with life-threatening injuries has shut down Kolb Road at Stella Road to one lane in both directions travel, authorities said Wednesday afternoon.
Officers from the Tucson Police Department closed two lanes in the northbound and southbound directions of the roadway around 6:30 p.m. due to the crash.
The closure is expected to last for the next several hours, the department said.
