A 19-year-old Sierra Vista man was arrested Wednesday night, after police say he sexually assaulted a minor.
Jose Rodriguez was booked into the Cochise County jail and is facing charges of aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation, sexual assault and sexual conduct with a minor, said Corporal Tim Wachtel, a Sierra Vista Police Department spokesman.
After receiving a report of the sexual assault, committed by an unknown suspect, detectives served a search warrant at a home in the 5000 block of Wilder Avenue Wednesday night, where they located Rodriguez and took him into custody, Wachtel said.
Rodriguez is being held on a $40,000 bond.
