Tucson police were investigating a suspicious death of a woman in midtown Thursday.
Police responded to a 911 call shortly before noon about a suspected prowler. When they arrived at a house in the 3500 block of East Third Street officers found the deceased woman, said Sgt. Kimberly Bay, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman.
