The Tucson Police Department on Thursday released dashcam video showing a shooting that injured one officer and the fleeing suspect.

The officer, Robert Miranda, suffered a graze wound to his head and was treated and released the night of the shooting.

The suspect, Marcus de la Torre, 33, was shot several times by the two officers and suffered life-threatening injuries.

The video shows the officers giving chase to the suspect, who was riding a motorized bicycle on the city's south side on Monday. At one point, the vehicle's dashcam captures a wounded Officer Miranda on the ground firing at the suspect as Officer Robert Orduno drives up in his vehicle near East 34th Street and South Park Avenue.

De la Torre is facing attempted first-degree murder and prohibited possessor charges when he is released from the hospital and booked into jail.
