A toddler was hospitalized late Saturday after she was found in a bathtub at an apartment on Tucson’s northwest side, officials say.
The tot, believed to be 2 years old, was found about 10:45 p.m. by an adult who was in the apartment in the 1700 block of West Prince Road, near North Flowing Wells Road, the Tucson Fire Department said in a news release.
It was not known how long the child had been underwater.
A 911 dispatcher provided CPR instructions over the phone to an adult in the apartment before rescuers arrived and the child was at the hospital just after 11 p.m.
The condition of the girl was not known Sunday morning, but the incident was considered life-threatening, the Tucson Fire news release said.
