Document-shredding is free on Saturday
 

A document shredding for residents of Tucson will be held Saturday, April 28, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 601 E. Fort Lowell Road.

The first box of documents to be shredded for each person will be free. A donation of $5 is requested for each additional box. Proceeds will benefit the Lend A Hand volunteer program.

The shredding will take place on site and all paper will be recycled

The event is sponsored by City Councilman Paul Durham, Constable Bennett Bernal and Lend a Hand.

Document shredding will be provided by Shred-It Document Destruction Services.
