An F-15E Strike Eagle takes off in February from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., to participate in a training sortie over the Nevada Test and Training Range.

Military aircraft from across the country and the Netherlands will be visiting Davis-Monthan Air Force Base through the months of January and February, D-M says.

  • Twelve F-15E Strike Eagles from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, arrived Jan. 6 and will train here until Jan. 20.
  • Six F-16 Fighting Falcons from the 162nd Wing, Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center at Tucson International Airport will train at D-M until Jan. 25.
  • Six F-16 Fighting Falcons from the Royal Netherlands Air Force will train here from Jan. 26 until Feb. 23.
  • Twelve A-10C Thunderbolt IIs from the 107th Fighter Squadron, Michigan Air National Guard, will train at D-M from Jan. 28 to Feb. 11.

During training, the visiting aircrews will follow all D-M arrival, departure and noise-abatement procedures, D-M said in a news release.
