University of Arizona President Robert C. Robbins is speaking this afternoon, Thursday, Nov. 16, to the Board of Regents about "the State of the University" — after recently disclosing a $240 million financial "miscalculation" he has said will require "draconian" budget cuts.
Robbins' remarks began at 3:35 p.m. and are scheduled to run until approximately 4:30 p.m.; today's regents' session at the UA is expected to go until 5 p.m.
