Desert View High School was nationally recognized for its excellent yearbook.

The school won first place for photography and third place for overall design in the high school category for a national yearbook competition by Entourage, a yearbook company.

Desert View put together a notable yearbook, the organization said in a news release. The school’s yearbook was selected out of hundreds of entries from around the country.

The school’s yearbook advisor Curtis Dutiel pointed out that the school’s excellent photography, including one taken by Angel Hernandez, contributed to the win.
