The Amphitheater School District will build a new school in Oro Valley which would focus on science, technology, engineering and math. The new school is scheduled to open for the 2017-2018 school year and serve about 500 students.

Tucson Hebrew Academy will host a science, technology, engineering and math fair on April 3.

There will be more than 50 exhibits, which would include hands-on activities. The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the academyโ€™s campus, 3888 E. River Road. Exhibitors include the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Pima Air & Space Museum, Southern Arizona Rocketry Association and the International Dark-Sky Association.

The event will be free and open to the public.
