Looks like Tucson will get some more rain today and will avoid another day of 100-degree weather.

You can expect another round of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon into the later evening hours, according to the National Weather Service. Some storms could become severe, but the main threats will be gusty winds, patchy blowing dust, and brief heavy rainfall, NWS said.

Thankfully the cooler weather and rain looks like it will stick around until the end of the week, with isolated showers and thunderstorms in the forecast until Sunday.
