Work to shift interstate traffic for the Ina Road-Interstate 10 interchange project starts tonight.
Starting at 9 p.m., westbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane between Sunset and Cortaro Farms roads through 5 a.m. Saturday to allow for striping.
Immediately thereafter, all westbound traffic between Orange Grove and Cortaro Farms roads will shift to the westbound frontage road for about a year.
Starting at 9 p.m. Sunday, eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane between Orange Twin Peaks and Orange Grove roads, also for striping. Similarly, at 5 a.m. Monday all eastbound I-10 traffic will be shifted to westbound I-10 for the same 12-month period.
