Interstate 10 east of Benson re-opened after a wreck Monday morning.ย
A crash closed the eastbound lanes of I-10 at milepost 318, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.ย Westbound traffic was unaffected.ย
The Arizona Department of Safety received a report of a wrong-way driver heading westbound in the eastbound lanes. The preliminary findings indicate the driver of a pickup truck was heading the wrong way and collided with a commercial truck while attempting to turn to go the right way.ย
No injuries were reported, but the driver of the pickup was taken to a hospital for a possible medical issue, according to DPS.
