Several local business leaders teamed up recently to raise money for Tu Nidito.
On Dec. 13, “Mr. An’s Holiday Drive for Tu Nidito” had a goal of raising $40,000 for the nonprofit and included restaurateur Kwang C. An, Sam Levitz of Sam Levitz Furniture, Humberto Lopez of HSL Properties Inc. and Jim Horvath of Town West Realty Inc.
The event, held at Mr. An’s Teppan Steak, Sushi and Seafood on North Oracle Road, raised $61,000 for Tu Nidito.
The total included $20,000 matches from HSL Properties and Sam Levitz Furniture.
Tu Nidito helps children and families who are experiencing serious illness or the death of a loved one. The services are provided at no cost to the families.
