A man was shot in the leg while at an ATM on East 22nd and South Kolb Road early Sunday morning, said Sgt Pete Dugan a public information officer with the Tucson Police Department.
The victim was approached by a man with a gun who demanded money at 3:40 a.m. while he was at an ATM in the parking lot in the Fry's shopping center, Dugan said.
The suspect fled the scene without getting money from the victim, he said.
The victim was hospitalized with serious but non-life threatening injuries, Dugan said.
There is no description of the suspect who is still being sought by police.
