A man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Tucson's north side Tuesday night, Tucson police say.
He was crossing 1st Avenue near Mohave Road when a southbound vehicle hit him, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson police spokesman.
Dugan said the driver remained at the crash scene.
Police reopened 1st Avenue from Prince Road to Fort Lowell Road shortly before 10:45 p.m.
No further information has been released.
