It was one of three big busts over the weekend at the Nogales port:

  • On Friday night officers at the DeConcini crossing seized 19 pounds of heroin, six pounds of meth and nearly six pounds of cocaine from a Mexican woman's Mazda SUV. The drugs were worth more than $400,000.
  • On Sunday, a CBP drug dog at the DeConcini crossing found 18 pounds of meth and three pounds of heroin hidden in a Ford SUV being driving by a 27-year-old woman from Nogales, Arizona. The drugs were worth more than $100,000.

All the drugs and vehicles were seized and the suspects were turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
