Tucson International Airport will be offering direct flights to Denver starting in the spring.

Frontier Airlines is returning to TIA with nonstop service to Denver International Airport three times a week beginning March 3.

“We can’t wait to make our return to the Tucson area with the launch of this new service,” Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design for Frontier said in a news release. “Just in time for spring and summer travel, consumers in the region will have new ultra-low-cost flight options to Colorado and beyond. Tourists looking to visit Southern Arizona will also be able to take advantage of Frontier’s unmatched affordability and convenience.”

Frontier Airlines will begin nonstop service between Tucson and Denver in March 2025.

The flights will operate Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays onboard an Airbus A320 aircraft. Travelers from Denver will depart at 9:52 a.m. and arrive at TIA at 10:50 a.m. Passengers from Tucson will depart at 11:59 a.m. and arrive in Denver at 2:57 p.m. All are local times.

“The TAA is delighted to welcome back Frontier Airlines to TUS,” said Tucson Airport Authority President and CEO Danette Bewley. “Our air service team has worked very hard to expand air service offerings for our community, and the addition of Frontier Airlines speaks to the incredible success of our airport team in attracting new service to Southern Arizona.”

To celebrate, Frontier is offering fares as low as $19 for a one-way ticket, if purchased by Nov. 25 for travel between Feb. 13 and April 21, 2025, with some blackout dates.
