Depending on your selection, this Black Friday sale might wiggle and yip, or purr and meow.

The Pima County Animal Care Center is holding a special event from noon to 3 p.m. Friday to find more of its animals homes. All adopted pets will come spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and with a free vet visit. A $16 dog licensing fee is not included.

It’s a savings of over $200, saidΒ Marcia Zamorano,Β a Pima County communications specialist.

The event will be held at the center, at 4000 N. Silverbell Road, and at most local PetSmart stores.

Best Friends Animal Society and Zappos.com will continue to cover all pet adoption fees for Pima County’s animals through Monday, Zamorano said.

β€œEvery year, they do try to find some sort of special for Black Friday,” she said. β€œThis special includes cats and dogs, and even kittens and puppies, that are generally more expensive.”
