You might think about wearing some woolly mittens with your cowboy attire if you are heading to the Tucson Rodeo Parade on Thursday.
The nasty weather expected today will likely clear out by Thursday, but it will still be cold.
The thousands expected to line the streets near the Tucson Rodeo Grounds for the parade will enjoy clear skies, but temperatures are expected to be only in the upper 30s around 9 a.m., the time the first of 118 entries starts down the route.
The high Thursday will be in the low 50s.

• What: 88th annual Tucson Rodeo Parade.
• When: Begins 9 a.m. Thursday.
• Admission: Spectators can watch for free along the parade route. Grandstand tickets can be purchased in advance at the Rodeo Parade Office, 4823 S. Sixth Ave., or at ticket booths near the grandstands on Thursday. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
• Grand marshals: Gabrielle Giffords and her husband, Mark Kelly.
• Parking: A limited number of parking spaces are available at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds, at South Sixth Avenue and East Irvington Road. Cars must park before Tucson police shut down the road at 8 a.m. Spectators can also take a Sun Tran bus to the Laos Center, which is one block from the Rodeo Grounds. Several of Sun Tran's regular routes service the Laos Center. There is no shuttle service for the parade.
